AIRCRAFT GUARDING, SEARCHING
AND ACCESS CONTROLS

In addition to access controls at the aircraft, our services also include searching aircraft for prohibited items and guarding parked aircraft during their stay on the Brazilian ground.

PASSENGERS AND BAGGAGES SCREENING

GRYPEN screens carry-on baggage for explosives and other dangerous items. We also screen checked bags for explosives and other dangerous items.

After check-in, baggage can be turned over to GRYPEN for a security inspection. Once the screening process is completed, the checked baggage are protected to prevent the introduction of any objects.

We also monitor the handling of baggage by third companies to prevent the introduction of any objects before and during embarking.

CARGO SECURITY

GRYPEN implements specific control measures of on-board freight in international flights. These missions usually entail the use of Explosive Detection Dogs (EDD/K9), X-Ray or Explosive Traces Detectors (ETD).

Once the screening process is completed, the checked cargo may be protected and escorted to the plane to prevent the introduction of any objects.

DETECTION DOGS | K9 SERVICES

GRYPEN is the Brazilian specialist in the selection and training of detection dogs. Our dogs and handlers receive the highest quality trainings, using methodologies and substances internationally approved by the civil aviation regulatory agencies of the United States and the European Union.

All of our dogs and handlers are certified by the American Working Dog Association to ensure that our K9 teams comply with the strictest international standards.

Vincent has specialized in managing his clients´ risks in several countries around the world with experience mainly in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Venezuela) and the Caribbean. In March 2021, Vincent purchased the activity of Amarante in Brazil and the airport security services were rebranded GRYPEN in 2022. Vincent is also the managing. partner of INTERLIRA, a specialist in due diligence and corporate investigations.

Vincent holds a PhD in Law from the Sorbonne University in Paris, he is Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP®) from the International Security Management Institute (ISMI, UK) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Lucia has more than 30 years of experience in Aviation Security across Brazil and leads our operations since 2015.

Lucia is AVSEC Auditor, the Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC) highest rank in Aviation Security.

Lucia has also a long experience in Airline and ground handling company management in Brazil and in the US (New York) and she is also the managing partner of a recognised training center for professionals of the aviation sector.

Lucia speaks Portuguese and English.
